Baroque Print
POSTED ON: Saturday, 7 September 2013 @ 01:21 | 0 comments
As can be seen, baroque prints became an inspirations for many designer for fall/winter 2012-13. Even though baroque was originated from 17th century during renaissance period, it has made a comeback within the fashion realm. It aimed to create drama, exuberance, and grandeur. Baroque itself is used in either the silhouette of the garments, or the bold and magnificent prints. And it really gave different atmosphere and feeling to the dresses and the fashion show. Although finding baroque prints nowadays is not really easy (as fashion trend changes really fast), subjectively, I find that baroque print is interesting, it really chic, luxurious and exquisite, and somehow it gives people who wears it an elegance and attractiveness. Below, you can see some designers who use baroque print for their show last year.
